eGift Card Terms and Conditions

Buying an eGift card

o You can purchase eGift cards on our website www.jdsports.ie .

o Following purchase, an order confirmation email will be sent to the e-mail address provided and text message confirmation will be sent to the mobile number provided.

o eGift cards may take up to 12 hours to be delivered by email to your email address.

o The minimum amount that can be loaded onto an eGift card is €5 and the maximum amount is €300.

o Your eGift card can be used by yourself or given as a gift.

How do I use my eGift card?

o You can check your eGift card balance at any time on our website using the eGift card balance checker.

o eGift cards will expire 60 months after the date of purchase.

o The 60-month period will renew for a further 60 months after each purchase made using the eGift card.

o We will not refund any remaining balance on your eGift card at the date of expiry.

o You must carefully enter the e-mail address of the recipient when purchasing an eGift card. We cannot correct any mistakes. If the eGift card you purchase is sent to someone else or to the wrong e-mail address, it will not be replaced, nor its value refunded.

o eGift cards are valid for use in-store, online at www.jdsports.ie. and on the JD Sports App.

o The value of your purchase(s) will be deducted from the balance on your eGift card and any remaining balance can be used against future purchases.

o You can purchase items with a value higher than your eGift card balance by paying the value over your eGift card balance using any of our normal payment methods.

Returning an item purchased with an eGift card

o You can return an item purchased using an eGift card by following our Returns Policy. Please see our Returns Policy for more information on returns.

o If an item has been returned, your refund will be credited to a new eGift card, there will be no option to receive a cash refund.

o If you purchased items with a value higher than your eGift card balance and choose to return them, the amount you paid via the eGift card will be credited to a new eGift card and the amount you paid using another payment method will be credited back to that same payment method.

eGift card exclusions

o eGift cards cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash, nor can they be transferred to another account or redeemed for any monetary value.

o eGift cards may be gifted to another individual but cannot be resold or used for commercial purposes.

o JD is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced eGift cards, nor for unauthorised use, including fraudulent transactions or purchases made without the permission of the cardholder.

o JD assumes no liability for technical issues, errors, or system failures that may affect the ability to use an eGift card. The responsibility for safeguarding the card and its details lies solely with the cardholder or the eGift card recipient.

o A maximum of two eGift cards can be used at any one time on any valid purchase in-store, online at www.jdsports.ie or on the JD Sports App.

o You cannot use any discount codes or online promotions to purchase an eGift card.

o You cannot use Klarna, Paypal Credit or other third party payment providers to purchase an eGift card.

o You cannot use an eGift card to pay a balance with any third party payment providers.

o eGift cards cannot be used in conjunction with any discount code or promotional code available at the time of purchase.

o eGift cards cannot be used to purchase items sold or fulfilled directly by a third-party.

o You can use your eGift cards on our Irish site to place an order for international delivery, but you cannot use your eGift card to place an order on any of our international sites.

o JD reserves the right to amend, waive or add any further terms and conditions for any reason at JD’s absolute discretion. Notice of any changes to our terms and conditions will be displayed in stores and on our website www.jdsports.ie.

o JD reserves the right to refuse redemption of an eGift card where we reasonably believe that the eGift card has been altered, copied, corrupted or otherwise used in any fraudulent way.
