    Frequently Asked Questions

    If your order has not been delivered yet please follow the below steps.

    1. Check Your Delivery Date.

    You can find your estimated delivery date on your ‘Order Confirmation’ email. Check this date has not yet passed.

    We will let you know via email if an item has not been despatched or has been cancelled, this can be due to it being out of stock. Please check your inbox including Spam/Junk emails. 

    We occasionally split your order into separate parcels to ensure it gets to you quickly. Find out more here.

    Our current delivery times are:

    Standard delivery orders will be delivered within 3-6 working days (does not include Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays). Delivering Monday to Friday only.

    Express delivery is within 2 working days (does not include Saturday and Sunday). Delivering Monday to Friday only. TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE

    Click and collect is within 3-6 working days. We will let you know when it has arrived in store and available to collect.TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE

    What is a 'working day'?

    2. Track Your Order.

    Check the tracking link we sent in your despatch email to view up to date tracking information. Allow 48 hour after despatch to check.

    3. Check Your Details.


    Sign into your account https://www.jdsports.ie/myaccount/dashboard/to check we have the correct delivery information for your order and that all of your contact details are up to date.


    Check with your neighbours. If you weren't in then the courier may have left the parcel with one of your neighbours. Check in any safe areas the driver may have left your parcel, such as in a porch or garden shed.


    4. Contact Us.


    If you still have not received your order and it is passed the estimated delivery date contact our Customer Service team quoting your order number.

     
    You can see our cut off times for pre Xmas delivery displayed on our website homepage as we get closer to the Holiday!

    We understand you might need a little more time over the festive period to return items to us. From Monday 1st November you can return your items to us for a refund or exchange up until Sunday 23rd January 2022 as long as they are accompanied by a valid proof of purchase. We are not able to process refunds or exchanges in-store between the dates of 26th and 28th December


    We offer FREE returns at any of our JD stores.!! All payment methods refunded in store.

    Take your despatch note and the goods you want to return. The store team will be happy to offer you a refund or exchange for orders paid by credit/debit cards only.

    Sorry your order was cancelled.
    If the item (s) you've ordered is out of stock at the time of packing your order, we need to cancel it. Please allow up to 5 working days for your refund,depending on your payment method
    Our customer service team wont know if a product is coming back in or not so why not take a look at our 'New In' section to see if something catches your eye.

    We deliver to the Republic of Ireland only.

    ROI Standard Delivery (DPD):

    €4, or FREE when your orders over €70. Orders take between 3 to 6 working days (does not include Saturday and Sunday). Delivering Monday to Friday only.

    CONTACTLESS DELIVERY WITH DPD:

    Your parcel will be left in a safe place or if someone is available your driver will knock and stand at least two steps away. If there is no answer delivery will be attempted 2 times for home address and once for business address. Available on our standard delivery service.

    ROI Express Delivery (DHL): €11.99 TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE 

    Order before midnight, and get it within 2 working days (does not include Saturday and Sunday). Delivering Monday to Friday only.

    ROI Click & Collect: €1, or FREE on orders over €40 (Selected Stores Only). TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE 

    Delivered to your chosen JD store in 3-6 working days. You will be notified when ready to pick up in store.

    We ship a large portion of our orders from the UK and are therefore anticipating slightly slower delivery lead times as we and our delivery partners make changes to our delivery services to accommodate the new customs process. Be rest assured, we won’t be passing any customs fees onto you and will be covering the full amount.

    As soon as your return has been received and checked by our warehouse team, we’ll email you to let you know.

    In the unlikely event that you haven’t received an email within 10 working days of returning your items. Contact our Customer Care Team and we’ll help you out. 

    Make sure you let us know your original order number, which items you have returned and any delivery reference numbers when you contact us.

    Please allow a further 3-5 days for your refund to show in your account.

    If you contact Customer Care as soon as possible, within half an hour of placing your order, we may be able to cancel your order.

    If you change your mind you can return it to us for FREE by taking it to one of our stores or by posting it for FREE back to us.

    All orders can be returned online or instore within 14 days for free, or can be exchanged within 28 days in store for free. 

    If you are missing an item from your order, before contacting Customer Care please take the following steps. 

    1. Check Your Emails

    We will let you know via email that an item has not been despatched or cancelled, this can be due to it being out of stock. Please check your inbox including Spam/Junk emails. 

    Please note that we will provide a full refund for any items that have not been sent.

    It can take up to 5 working days (does not include Saturday and Sunday) from when you received the email to get the full refund. Please allow this time before contacting Customer Care.

    2. Check Your Order Status

    Occasionally we send orders in split parcels, we will let you know via email or in your account. Please check your despatch information. Find out more here.

    What is a 'working day'? 

    Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

    All our home delivery orders are trackable. You can track your order Here. You will also have received a despatch email with a tracking link for your order or alternatively you can log in to your account and view the tracking in your order history.

    When we send your despatched email there can sometimes be a delay between this being sent and the carrier receiving the order. As a guide, please allow up to 48 hours for your order information to be visible.

    Collect from Store orders are tracked internally but this cannot currently be provided to the customer. We will email you once your order is in store.

     

    Once the order has been processed an Order Confirmation email will be sent to you. This is usually within a few hours.

     

    During busy periods the email confirmation can take a little longer to come through, but don’t worry we are working on your order!

     

    Make sure you check your junk and spam inbox, as sometimes it can be there.

    Yes you can return your unwanted online or store bought items to any of our stores for FREE.

    Head down to one of our JD stores, take your dispatch note and the goods you want to return, and the store team will be happy to offer you a refund or exchange.

    If you're having trouble placing your order, you may need to delete your cookies - a cookie is a small file we store on your computer to let us know who you are next time you visit us. On most internet browsers you can delete your cookies using 'Tools' or 'History'. 

     

    Please note if you have items in your basket that were added when you weren't logged in you'll need to make a note of the product name/code as deleting your cookies could clear this history. 

     

    Once you've cleared your cookies, close your browser, reopen it and visit our site again. You should be able to use it without anymore problems.

    Yes, returns are FREE for all online orders.

    All orders can be returned online or instore within 14 days for free, or can be exchanged within 28 days in store for free. 

    Make your return via our returns portal, click here to access the platform.

    Include your despatch note and securely package your items before returning.

    We will email you when we have received the item in our warehouse. Your refund will then be in your account within 5 working days.

    Returns are also FREE in all stores. 

    What is a ‘working day’?
    Monday-Friday, not including Bank Holidays.

     

    Once an order's been placed we are unable to add, change or amend any products from your order.

    If you wish to return an unwanted item you can send it back for FREE using our returns portal. 

    We have instore kiosk devices where you can order you parcel to be delievery instore or to your home adress. 

    Kiosk orders will be delivered within a 4-7 working days.

    If you selected standard delivery we will email you with a tracking link when the goods have been despatched so you can track the delivery with our courier.

    If you have requested a Collect from Store delivery, once your order has been delivered to the store we will send you an email and SMS message informing you that your order is ready for collection. The delivery time will vary from store to store but it will usually be within a few working days.

    You must return your order to store as we cannot accept returns by the post that are bought through a kiosk.

    During busy periods confirmation emails may take longer than expected but please be assured we are working on your order!

    Please also check your junk inbox as sometimes it can be there.
