Officially launched as Major League Soccer’s 25th club back in January 2018, Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami (Inter Miami) has taken the game by storm. Based in the vibrant city in south Florida, the club made its MLS debut against Los Angeles FC two years later when they travelled to reigning Supporters’ Shield champions Los Angeles FC.

Later that season, they earned the first win in the club’s history on their debut game at the Inter Miami CF Stadium – now Chase Stadium.

Marking their name as a force to be reckoned with in the league, three-time LaLiga and Serie A winner Gonzalo Higuaín signed as a Designated Player for the side. Another Juventus player shortly followed him as French international Blaise Matuidi put pen to paper with the club.

In 2023, the GOAT arrived: seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi was announced as the club’s Designated Player. His former Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba shortly followed before Luis Suárez joined in 2024 to complete a star-studded line-up.

Their first piece of silverware came in a dramatic penalty shootout win to secure the 2023 Leagues Cup trophy.
