Air Jordan 1 Lows are a variation of the iconic J1 by designer Peter Moore, which launched in ’85 as a high top made specifically for NBA player Michael Jordan. As opposed to the OG sneaker, a certified performance shoe, this low top is intended to be used for lifestyle purposes, swapping the courts for the less intensive demands of the streets. This is reflected in its casual appearance, which takes subtle deviations from its counterpart while honouring its basketball roots with a bold silhouette available in numerous colourways, including white and black. The Jordan 1 Low also comes in the form of the Elevate Low (a version of the trainer that stands on a platform sole) and various special editions, such as collaborations with American rapper Travis Scott.
